nVent Celebrates Corporate Compliances & Ethics Week

Earlier this month, our teams around the world celebrated Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week, which shines a spotlight on the importance of compliance and ethics. The core principles of the week are awareness, recognition and reinforcement. At nVent, we focused on awareness. The theme of the week was ‘Meet the Compliance Team.’ Ethics champions and members of the Compliance team hosted events and engaged employees by playing live and online games to help them get to know our Ethics & Compliance Team and better understand the compliance process. A total of 14 locations hosted celebrations.

The Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week activities add to our other ongoing efforts to integrate compliance into the day-to-day business, and ensure employees understand our Ethics & Compliance policies. In 2022, 100% of our professional employees and 80% of our total population completed training on our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, which provides the framework for these behaviors. We are proud of the strides we continue to make to ensure honest and ethical business practices in our dealings with customers, business partners, investors, communities and each other.
