Beth Wozniak was named nVent’s CEO in 2017 before the separation from Pentair.  She previously served as Pentair's senior vice president and president of its Electrical segment, and as president of Pentair's Flow & Filtration Solutions global business unit, respectively.  Prior to joining Pentair in 2015, Wozniak held several leadership and program management positions at Honeywell and its predecessor AlliedSignal. She was president of Honeywell’s Environmental and Combustion Controls business. She also held several executive positions at Honeywell including president of its Sensing and Control business; vice president of Business Integration; vice president of Six Sigma; and vice president of Engineering and Program Management. Wozniak holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada and an MBA from York University in Toronto.

Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer

Ben Sommerness was named nVent’s Executive Vice President, Chief Growth and Strategy Officer in 2017 before the separation from Pentair. Prior to joining nVent, Sommerness served as Vice President of Global Strategy and Transformation for Smith Medical, the largest division of Smiths Group PLC, a U.K. Diversified Industrial Conglomerate. The majority of his previous experience was in leadership roles at the Boston Consulting Group, where he primarily served industrial clients. A former Captain in the U.S. Army, Sommerness holds an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
