nVent CADDY cable bracing is a simple seismic bracing method for mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and fire sprinkler systems—including CPVC pipe systems. Cable bracing has no brace length limitation and is the only option when brace lengths exceed 9 feet 7 inches (3 m) for strut or when confined/crowded spaces make rigid systems difficult to install. The system includes steel cable assemblies compliant with all ASCE® 19 requirements, which includes patented attachment fittings, swaged oval sleeves with related tools, as well as pre-assembled kits.
Features
- Color-coded cable conforms to IBC®, ASCE® 7, ASCE® 19 and NFPA® 13 requirements for field identification of cable size and strength
- UL® Listed
- Meets CEN/TS 17551:2021 requirements for Seismic Sway Bracing
