Essential Tasks:
- Receive and inspect goods (checking the type, quantity and quality of goods on the basis of accompanying documents)
- Organize the unloading of the goods, choosing the storage place and subsequent warehousing
- Process goods (determining physical and climatic influences)
- Perform inventories
- Transport goods within the company
- Perform order picking of the goods
- Load and pack the goods
- Responsible for ensuring all industrial safety, environmental protection and other relevant procedures are followed while executing duties
The specialized knowledge is taught in the different departments of logistics.

- Duration of the program: 3 years
- Location of the company: Straubenhardt, Germany
- Location of the school: Friedrich-List-Schule in Karlsruhe, Germany
The theoretical classes take place on 1.5 days per week at the Friedrich-List-Schule in Karlsruhe.
Salary:
- 1st Year: € 1.091,00 pro Monat
- 2nd Year: € 1.159,00 pro Monat
- 3rd Year: € 1.261,50 pro Monat
- 4th Year: € 1.329,50 pro Monat
All trainees at the nVent SCHROFF facility in Straubenhardt receive the same salary with a weekly working time of 37.5 hours.
